Denver Broncos head coach Vance Joseph addressed the media on Thursday ahead of Sunday’s game in Miami against his former team.

Joseph spoke about former players he’s coached in Miami, some of the Broncos’ rookies — and what it will take for them to see the field — and how winning is still the priority for Denver, and that there is no pressure from the front-office to see less-experienced players take significant snaps right now.

“I don’t,” Joseph said when asked if he was ‘mandated’ to start to look at youth. “We want to win a game. We’ve got five ball games left. Obviously, its been a tough year so far. We want to win a football game, so we’re playing guys who can help us win.”

Joseph followed up by affirming that winning is the priority over evaluating potential talent for next season. “Absolutely, it’s more important than having a future look at a guy. We watch them every day here, so that’s part of the evaluation, also.”
