A lot of coordinators and coaches have cycled through the NFL, with many burning out after a few seasons, but Wade Phillips has remained a mainstay, serving nearly four decades in the league.
And he’s been great, commanding 18 top-10 defenses since he took over as the New Orleans Saints’ defensive coordinator in 1981.
And now, with all that knowledge, Phillips (A.K.A. @SonofBum) is looking to pass it on.

There may not be a person alive today who knows as much about defense as Wade Phillips, and there’s certainly no one more qualified to write a book on 3-4 defenses in the NFL.
Whether or not he was inspired by the so called “experts” not knowing what a blitz is, any reader is sure to learn a lot.
