Denver Broncos wide receiver Jordan Taylor entered Thursday’s preseason finale against the Arizona Cardinals firmly on the roster bubble for the final receiver position.

On Denver’s first drive of the game, Taylor made a statement play that just might have cemented his spot on the roster.

On Denver’s third play from scrimmage, rookie QB hit the first-year wideout for a 57-yard catch and run to the end zone. Taylor made a pair of nifty cuts to leave Cariel Brooks in the dust and Marqui Christian with some ankles that will need some ice at halftime.

In the second half, Lynch and Taylor connected again, this time on a bootleg in the red zone. The two accounted for both of Denver’s touchdowns in the game.

Taylor spent all of 2015 on the practice squad, playing a key role in Peyton Manning’s midseason rehab stint.
