The question that was burning up talk radio and the blog-o-sphere in Denver all day Monday has been answered. The boos will have to wait until Tuesday.

Rockies fans greeted former shortstop Troy Tulowitzki with a loud cheer and standing ovation when he strode to the plate in the second inning of Monday’s game, his first at Coors Field since being traded to the Toronto Blue Jays last July.

It was a classy move on the part of Rockies fans, and equally classy for Tulowitzki to tip his cap to the crowd.

Rockies pitcher Jon Gray got the last laugh, though, striking out Tulowitzki looking.
