Reported on Monday, news of Denver Broncos general manager John Elway wanting to replace current head coach Vance Joseph with former head coach Mike Shanahan — only to be vetoed by President Joe Ellis back in late-December — immediately begins to raise questions about who really is calling the shots on major football related decisions, Elway or Ellis?

Broncos Blitz podcast host Ronnie Kohrt breaks down the situation surrounding Shanahan, Elway and Ellis and how it effects the team moving forward. Who is calling the football-related shots? Did egos get in the way of Denver replacing Vance Joseph?

Kohrt also plays a clip from Afternoon Drive with Goodman and Shapiro, a clip featuring Les Shapiro who also reports several new tidbits of information on this developing story.
